We’re all tired of hearing the phrases; “Content Creation is Key”, “Content is King” & “Feed the Beast”! By now, we all know that we must post & we must post interesting & relevant content on our business, brand or organization’s social media pages. But how can we easily define “interesting & relevant content”?
Follow our simple 70/20/10 rule to maximize your content, posting & engagement on your social media pages:

70. 70% of the time we should be posting content that is educational & informative. Don’t get me wrong, educational & informative doesn’t have to be boring. Try positioning yourself as the thought leader & industry expert. Ask open ended questions that provoke comments & discussions. Don’t be afraid to share your knowledge!
20. 20% of the time we need to be asking for the sale. That’s why we’re in business, right? With the rise of social media & other inbound marketing mediums, too often we forget to give that specific call to action. Calls to action can include phrases such as: “call now to…”, “email for…”, “sign up for…” & so many more. Be sure you are incorporating calls to action in your weekly social media posting strategy!
10. 10% of the time offer your fans a “personal peak.” A personal peak as defined by RAW Marketing is an “insight to your company, brand or organizations personality, culture & ideals.” We’ve all heard the old saying, “people do business with those they know & trust.” Social media provides a platform of opportunity to allow our current & new customers get to know us & in turn give us their business.
